A self-contained system engineered to identify T. foetus (Tritrichomonas foetus) with PCR technology by providing field-sample inoculation, and safe transport of the specimen. The TF Transit Tube provides a comprehensive solution for detecting Tritrichomonas foetus, the parasite responsible for Bovine Trichomoniasis. These “gold standard” products provide selective media, offering several key advantages over PBS-based sample transport. PCR accuracy is enhanced when the flagellates grow in the TF Bovine media, reducing the need for retesting and missed positive cases. The products are simple to use, requiring inoculation at the point of care. After incubation, the parasite flagellates can be easily observed at 10x magnification or integrated with PCR methods.
