Potato Dextrose Agar is recommended by the American Public Health Association for plate counts of yeasts and molds in the examination of foods and dairy products.

InTray® SAB-FungID™ contains Sabouraud’s dextrose agar, a nonselective medium used to aid in the detection of dermatophyte fungi Nfrom clinical specimens with mixed microbiota.

InTray® SAB-FungID™ w/ CC contains Sabouraud’s dextrose agar with chloramphenicol and cycloheximide, a selective medium used to aid in the detection of dermatophyte fungi from clinical specimens with mixed microbiota.

InPouch® TF - Feline is a self-contained system for the detection of T. foetus in feline fecal samples. The proprietary medium is selective for the transport and growth of the trichomonad while inhibiting the growth of mold.

The TF-Transit Tube is a self-contained system for the collection and transport of Tritrichomonas foetus from bovine preputial or vaginal samples. The proprietary medium is selective for Trichomonas, while inhibiting the growth of other organisms.

InTray® COLOREX™ Yeast is designed for isolation and differentiation of major clinically significant Candida species. Suitable for direct streaking of samples from skin, sputum, urine or genitourethral swabs.

InTray® DM is an enriched dermatophyte medium used in the detection of dermatophytes from clinical specimens.

Colorex™ Salmonella agar is a chromogenic medium for selective isolation and differentiation of Salmonella species, e.g., Enterobacteriaceae and other enteric bacteria.

InTray® SMA (Sorbitol MacConkey Agar) is a selective and differential media for the detection of sorbitol-non-fermenting Escherichia coli serotype O157:H7 associated with hemorrhagic colitis. This medium is also referred to as “MacConkey Sorbitol Agar”.

XLT4 agar medium is devised for selection of nontyphi Salmonella from samples contaminated with fecal matter1-4. Growth of other organisms is inhibited and Salmonella can be differentiated from other organisms by colony color.
