Immunoassays

This protocol details the procedure for testing samples with the OLM Aspergillus LFD (AspLFD). The following protocol is summarised in the figure overleaf. Please see the AspLFD handbook for more detailed product information.

Affimedixs Rapi-D Quantitative Vitamin D Test is an immunochromatography-based one step in vitro test.

The assay, based on the M5 and the M6 antibodies, measures total cell death due to apoptosis or necrosis and is intended for human serum or plasma.

The M65 EpiRat™ ELISA is based on the M5 and M6 antibodies, which bind to the biomarker Keratin-18 (K18). K18 is an intermediate filament protein in epithelial cells.

The Avidity Epstein-Barr Virus (VCA) IgG ELISA is intended to indicate the Epstein-Barr virus viral capsid antigen (VCA)-specific IgG avidity in human serum or plasma (citrate, heparin) to differentiate between acute and past infection.

The Avidity Measles Virus IgG ELISA is intended to indicate the Measles-specific IgG avidity in human serum or plasma (citrate, heparin) to differentiate between acute and past infection.

The Ascaris lumbricoides IgG ELISA is intended for the qualitative determination of IgG class antibodies against Ascaris lumbricoides in human serum or plasma (citrate, heparin).

The Aspergillus fumigatus IgG ELISA is intended for the qualitative determination of IgG class antibodies against Aspergillus fumigatus in human serum or plasma (citrate, heparin).
