InTray SAB+PVG is slightly inhibitory against bacteria and is designed for sampling a large spectrum of fungal growth. Bacterial inhibition is further enhanced with the introduction of the antibiotics Polymyxin B, Vancomycin and Gentamicin – which is used for samples with suspected high levels of bacterial contamination.
Detects: Trichophyton mentagrophytes, Saccharomyces cerevisiae, Candida albicans, and Aspergillis brasiliensis.
Time to Result: 1 -14 days, incubated at 25ºC for positive
