A chromogenic medium for differentiation and isolation of pure cultures of Streptococcus agalactiae (GBS). Sub-culture is necessary for identification and not intended for diagnosis.
Product Principle:
- Combine collection, culture, result and microscopic observation in one IVD device.
- Highly selective prepared media in a device designed for in-vitro specimen transport and incubation.
- Rapid presumptive-positive diagnosis without re-plating. InTray can be placed directly on microscope stage.
- Fully enclosed device with Tyvek® air filtration prevents contamination and exposure, post-collection.
Detects: Streptococcus agalactiae
Time to Result: Incubate at 35-37°C for 18-24 hours under ambient atmosphere.
