Genvinset® HLA B57v5 is a Research Use Only Real-Time PCR kit for qualitative detection of the HLA-B57:01 allele in genomic DNA extracted from whole blood. Using TaqMan® hydrolysis-probe technology, the assay provides specific HLA-B57:01 detection for molecular genetics and HLA research applications.
HLA-B*57:01 is detected through the FAM channel, while the HBB β-globin gene serves as an internal positive control detected through the HEX/VIC channel. The kit includes a Positive Control and Reaction Blank and is available in 24- and 48-test formats.
The assay uses HLA-B*57:01-specific primers and a FAM-labelled probe, with HBB β-globin as the internal positive control detected in HEX.
