Immunoassays

Protein S is a solid phase enzyme immunoassay for the quantitative determination of Total and Free Protein S in citrated human plasma. The determination of Total and Free Protein S aids in the risk estimation of thrombosis.

This protocol details the procedure for testing samples with the OLM Aspergillus LFD (AspLFD). The following protocol is summarised in the figure overleaf. Please see the AspLFD handbook for more detailed product information.

The assay, based on the M5 and the M6 antibodies, measures total cell death due to apoptosis or necrosis and is intended for human serum or plasma.
