The 25-OH Quantitative Rapid Vitamin D Test is a one-step in vitro immunochromatographic assay intended for the quantitative determination of total 25-hydroxy Vitamin D (25-OH Vitamin D) in human finger-prick capillary whole blood. The assay is intended for near-patient screening of Vitamin D status and Vitamin D deficiency. Results provide a preliminary diagnostic measurement and should be interpreted together with clinical information; confirmatory testing using LC-MS/MS or another quantitative immunoassay may be performed when clinically appropriate.
